How to trap a pigeon?
For trapping a pigeon, you could use various methods. The most convenient way is to use one-way door traps. You'll have to place food inside the cage to lure the pigeon towards it. Bread piece or cracked corn is their favorite food. One-way doors only allow entry from one side; therefore once they are in the cage, they won't be able to come out. Another way is to use nettings and place them against your wall or on your roof. It's one of the most economical ways of catching pigeons; however, if the netting isn't placed properly, it won't work well.
Capturing pigeons and relocating them to another place won't work. Either you have to repel them from the place, or you'll have to kill them over there. Fortunately, pigeons are the only birds that don't have any state laws against their killings. House Sparrow and Starling are the other two of such type of birds. Although killing them sounds promising, in reality, it won't be beneficial to inhibit the pigeon population. Therefore better strategies need to be deployed to get rid of this menace once and for all. Placing spikes on the roof is the best option!
